MINAC RECEIVES THE DELEGATION FROM THE ORGANIZING COMMITTEE OF THE 9TH EDITION OF THE FESTIVAL
The Minister of Arts and Culture received on Wednesday October 11, 2023, the delegation of the Organizing Committee of the 9th edition of the “NSEM TODJOM” Cultural Festival.

The delegation was led by Mr. Jules Raymond Kamga, Minister Plenipotentiary. Remember that this Festival is an initiative of the Bandjoun people with a view to promoting their art and culture.
The department of Koun-Khi in the Western region of Cameroon, the locality of Bandjoun is illustrative of the dynamism of the daughters and sons of this region. It is for this dynamism that the President of the Republic, H.E Paul Biya, has always counted with and on the West as a significant, massive, enthusiastic and patriotic political and social force.
Once again, these people, from November 4-11, 2023 will celebrate around his majesty <<FO>> NJOMO Kamga Honoré, the King of Bandjoun, the 9th edition of the MSEM TODJOM festival, under the theme *One language, one culture, in the service of sustainable development*
This festival is a moment of communion between a people and their history, a history which links them not only to their origins but also to their ancestors and to God. It is a moment of identity, of valorization and promotion of local cultural values, the purification of society from evils which can be a source of disorder and division.
This festival also allows the Bandjoun people to open their doors to the outside world with the aim of positively exhibiting their culture and entering fully into a diverse, multiple community of ancient culture and modern ambitions.
The MSEM TODJOM festival beyond its contribution to the construction of our cultural identity, the basis of harmonious living together and national integration. This festival is celebrated every two years and is intended to be a showcase of Bandjoun culture.
